A Simple 5-Minute Technique That Helped Me Feel Calm Again 💜

Hi Reader,

Have you ever had a moment…
when a memory, a song, or even a photo suddenly takes over your emotions?

It happens so fast… and before you know it, your focus is gone, your energy drops, and your whole day feels different.

Since losing my husband in November 2023, I’ve been experiencing this more often than I’d like to admit. And for a long time, I kept asking myself:

“Is this just how it’s going to be?”

But just a few days ago, I discovered something that has truly surprised me.

While listening to a podcast by Dr Mindy Pelz featuring Jessica Ortner, I learned about a simple technique called tapping (also known as Emotional Freedom Techniques).

I’ll be honest—it sounded a little unusual at first.

But I decided to try it.

And what I experienced… was a sense of calm I hadn’t felt in a long time.

Even more surprising?

Later that same day, after being swarmed by ants (yes, really!), I used tapping again—and the itching, redness, and discomfort disappeared within minutes.

I share all of this with you in this short video:

Hi Reader, What problem keeps calling you to build? Have you ever noticed a problem that everyone else seems willing to tolerate—but you simply cannot stop thinking about how to solve it? That may be your innovator’s instinct calling you to build. In the 1960s, Swedish biologist Lars Wilsson made a fascinating discovery: when beavers heard the sound of running water, something inside them told them to start building—even when the sound came from a loudspeaker and there was no water around....
