The U.S. Government Prescribed Him Cannabis for 30+ Years… Here’s His Incredible Story

Hi Reader,

What if the same government that once claimed cannabis had no medical value… prescribed it to you every single day for over 30 years?

That’s exactly what happened to my latest podcast guest, Irvin Rosenfeld.

Irvin is one of the longest surviving federal medical cannabis patients in the United States. Diagnosed with a rare and painful bone disorder that causes multiple bone tumors, he became part of a little-known federal program that supplied him with medical cannabis for decades.

But this conversation is about so much more than cannabis.

It’s about resilience.
It’s about overcoming stigma.
And it’s about living a full, productive, purpose-driven life despite chronic pain and adversity.

What makes this interview especially meaningful to me is my personal history with Irv.

Many years ago, my late husband, Richard Cherry, and I were building Willow CyberCenter Network—an innovative company designed to create meaningful work-from-home opportunities for people with disabilities across America.

Irv immediately understood the importance of that mission because of his own experiences living with disability challenges. Through his generosity, belief in our vision, and extensive network, he introduced us to several accredited investors who helped support our company during its early growth.

In this powerful interview, Irv shares:
✨ His extraordinary journey as a federal medical cannabis patient
✨ How he built a successful career as a stockbroker while managing chronic pain
✨ Why he became such a passionate advocate for disability inclusion
✨ His work helping people with disabilities through adaptive sailing programs like Shake-A-Leg
✨ His thoughts on the future of medical cannabis and patient rights

This is one of the most fascinating and inspiring conversations I’ve had on Golden Years Empowerment.

After you watch, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

And if this episode inspires you, please share it with someone who may benefit from this important conversation.

With gratitude,

Hi Reader, Most people think unhealthy means overweight. But what if one of the most dangerous forms of fat is completely hidden? I recently read the fascinating book Growing Better Not Older by Dr. Sean O’Mara, and it completely changed how I think about aging, inflammation, and disease prevention. In my newest YouTube presentation, I share shocking MRI scan images that reveal something called visceral fat — hidden fat wrapped around our organs that may silently contribute to: • Heart...

Hi Reader, Have you ever had a moment…when a memory, a song, or even a photo suddenly takes over your emotions? And for a long time, I kept asking myself: “Is this just how it’s going to be?” But just a few days ago, I discovered something that has truly surprised me....
